Travel Time

Journal Entry: Sun Jan 20, 2008, 2:17 AM
Before the summer rush comes, I want to get in at least one international trip and I've got a few thoughts on where to go but I can't decide. If you live in any of these places (or if you've been there), please let me know if you like(d) it there:

  • Scandinavia (Sweden / Norway / Denmark)
    • Australia
      • New Zealand
        • Chile
          • Russia
            • Thailand
              • Costa Rica

If you have other recommendations, let me know but first look down and to the left on this page. I have a little map there of places I've alreday been.

Click here [link] to see pictures from my trip to NYC.

Oh yeah, I might go to the Olympics in Beijing this year. Wouldn't that be awesome! Beijing os one of my all time favorite places.

                :work: ~BIO~

I've got a few magazine features coming up and I need to write a biography, nothing fancy just a few paragraphs. If you are a writer by all means please contact me and let me know if you are intereted in writing my bio. I'd do it myself but it's more professional to have someone else do it.
Obviously, I can provide you with all the info you need to get it done and you'll get credit.

                :gallery: ~EXPOSÉ 6 Call for Entries~

I'm going to be submitting work to the world famous EXPOSÉ 6 art book - hands down the greatest digital art in the world. Last year, two of my images made it to the finals but got cut in the end. Let me know which images you think I should submit (any of my work from JAN 2007 on).

FYI: Artwork must be submitted before Midnight, February 25th 2008, GMT.

I live in Brisbane, Australia and have been doing so for the past 8 years - previously, I lived in Auckland, New Zealand. I love Brisbane - it's better than Sydney in that Sydney is a little bit too polluted, too crowded, and somewhat, for me, a very materialist society. Brisbane and the Gold Coast are more the beachy, sunnier and more peaceful places. I'd recommend visiting Moreton Island, if you do end up coming to Brisbane, Australia.

Auckland in New Zealand was good, too, but I was too little at the time to remember any sorts of touristy attractions. =P

I've spent three weeks in Perth two years ago and I miss the place still.
The city is amazing and the people are friendlier than any other place I've visited.
It's f*cking big, mind you, so you'll need a car or something like that to travel...
And you've to visit Italy, absolutely ;) I've to support my country, no? :D

I live in New Zealand. Our summer is really nice, Auckland can get rainy really horrible rainy whether in our winter. The south island is absolutely beautiful, I would definately reccomend visiting there, the snow on the mountains in winter is just gorgeous, and if you like the lord of the rings the locations are just amazing, there is a location guidebook that you can buy with information on them. I did the hobbiton tour in matamata last year and loved it. You wouldn't have far to travel either, to drive from Auckland to Wellington is about 8 hours.

I didn't find your "down and to the left" link of places you've gone to. How about the Philippines?

yeah, I meant that if you were looking at my journal while on my main page, you'd see my webcam pic with the little map on it.

I think I'd put Thailand and Singapore above anything else in southeast asia for the time being.
