Commissioned piece

I pulled out all the stops for this one!
I'm trying to think of technical notes that you would like to hear about... This is all Photoshop. I think the tools I use more than anything can be set in this order:

1. Paintbrush (to work like an airbrush with selections)
2. Pen (to create selections)
3. Burn and dodge (I use these in all of my work)
4. Smudge (same with this one)

I used a mouse for everything except the hair and some of the clouds.

The background was referenced off of a photo I took at the Temple Of Heaven in Beijing (in broad daylight)
