Do you manipulate the colours! It's great, I love this picture. One of the most beautiful pictures I've ever seen. The colours and how the trees reflects themselves in the water... Amazing!!
Yeah, to get these colors there needs to be a lot of green to start with. Then I can easily change the green to orange in photoshop.
This technique is best for landscape images and I also think it looks beautiful. I'll probably continue to create this style in the future.
Wow, that is absolutely beautiful. The colours are just inspiring. Och... I want to draw something with this colour scheme now, desperately. Black and chestnut and orange... oh, and I love the reflection!
You know what's amusing? Saying that a photo looks like a painting... and yet a really good painting may look like a photo. A lot of people say that... and so am I. The strange texture and slight over-all blur make it look like a painting at first.
Since it isnt, I might paint this, myself. With credit, of course. I need spare time though... I dont have that.
...that sky would look a lot better with a bit more of blue in it--to differentiate between it and the mountains... but I see what you were going for here.
This originally had blue in the sky with the orange and it was a good offset but how could I submit an image of Yosemite without an homage to the great black and white photographer - Ansel Adams.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More

Makes me wanna eat Reeses Piecies. Heh.
But... I'm so un-art-educated. I shall search out Ansel Adams because I have NO IDEA who this is.
